The Homer Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Hillsdale Hornets to 27 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonesville for a Big 8 contest on Friday, December 10. Homer will battle a Comets team coming off a 50-44 non-league win over Madison (Adrian, MI). The Comets record now stands at 1-0.

The Hornets (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, MI). The Redwolves enter the Lenawee County contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Clinton was routed by Morenci (Morenci, MI), 46-13, in a non-league contest.
