Texas High School Basketball - Killeen nips Rouse
December 7, 2021: Killeen, TX 76543 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX) and the visiting Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX), saw Killeen's basketball squad hold off Rouse by a count of 57-56.
With the victory, Killeen upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Kangaroos host Temple (Temple, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, December 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Temple lost 36-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX)
Next up, the Raiders play the Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 10. Rouse will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Badgers come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 65-33 non-league win over Harlandale (San Antonio, TX).
