Tennessee High School Basketball - Oak Ridge falls to Powell
December 7, 2021: Powell, TN 37849 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Powell Panthers (Powell, TN) and the visiting Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN), saw Powell's basketball squad overcome Oak Ridge by a tally of 35-24.
With the victory, Powell improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host West (Knoxville, TN) to confront the Rebels in a 4A District 3 challenge on Friday, December 10. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. West lost 57-12 in their recent league challenge against Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Cleveland Blue Raiders (Cleveland, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. Oak Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 43-34 non-league loss to Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN).
