Florida High School Basketball - Gulf Coast nips Gateway Charter
December 7, 2021: Naples, FL 34119 Gulf Coast Sharks (Naples, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gateway Charter Griffins (Fort Myers, FL), 58-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Gulf Coast upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Sharks host Immokalee (Immokalee, FL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Immokalee won 76-27 in their recent non-league bout against LaBelle (LaBelle, FL)
Next up, the Griffins play the Gateway Eagles (Fort Myers, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 10. Gateway Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Dunbar (Fort Myers, FL).
