The Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons basketball team (Punta Gorda, FL), was routed 71-48 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting IMG Academy Blue Ascenders (Bradenton, FL)

The Ascenders now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Suncoast for a non-league battle on Friday, December 9. IMG Academy Blue will battle a Chargers team coming off a 52-49 non-league loss to Jupiter (Jupiter, FL). The Chargers record now stands at 5-1.

The Fightin' Tarpons (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Port Charlotte (Port Charlotte, FL). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Port Charlotte trounced Venice (Venice, FL), 64-42, in a non-league battle.
