In Wednesday's league outing, the Galway Golden Eagles (Galway, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville Wolves (St. Johnsville, NY), by a margin of 59-45.

The Golden Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mayfield (Mayfield, NY). The Panthers go into the Section 2 Western - Hudson outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Mayfield was beaten by Duanesburg (Delanson, NY), 83-40, in a league outing.
