Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Riverside tops Aliquippa
December 7, 2022: Ellwood City, PA 16117 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) and the visiting Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA), saw Riverside's basketball squad knock off Aliquippa by a count of 35-27.
With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Hopewell won 61-15 in their recent non-league challenge against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA)
Next up, the Quips play the Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Aliquippa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
