December 7, 2023: Colcord, OK 74338 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Colcord Hornets (Colcord, OK) and the visiting Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR), saw Colcord's basketball squad overcome Gentry by a tally of 76-66.
With the victory, Colcord improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host Westville (Westville, OK) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Westville lost 51-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Stigler (Stigler, OK)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Siloam Springs Panthers (Siloam Springs, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Gentry will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 64-50 non-league loss to Huntsville (Huntsville, AR).
