December 7, 2023: Coweta, OK 74429 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mustang Broncos (Mustang, OK) and the host Coweta Tigers (Coweta, OK), saw Mustang's basketball squad knock off Coweta by a count of 73-58.
With the victory, Mustang upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Booker T. Washington won 71-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK)
Next up, the Tigers play the Sapulpa Chieftains (Sapulpa, OK) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Friday, December 8. Coweta will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 71-54 non-league loss to Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK).
