California High School Basketball - Foothill tops Northwood
December 7, 2023: Irvine, CA 92620 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) and the host Northwood Timberwolves (Irvine, CA), saw Foothill's basketball squad knock off Northwood by a count of 62-47.
With the victory, Foothill upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. JSerra Catholic won 60-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Cactus (Glendale, AZ)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Northwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA).
