Mississippi High School Basketball - Jumpertown tipped by Myrtle
December 7, 2023: Booneville, MS 38829 The Myrtle Hawks basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Jumpertown Cardinals to 65 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potts Camp for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Myrtle will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 68-50 non-league loss to Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.
The Cardinals (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Eagles enter the 1A Region 2 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Falkner nudged Houlka (Houlka, MS), 61-51, in a non-league contest.
