Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA) and the host Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers (Sacramento, CA), saw Mammoth's basketball squad hold off Sacramento Country Day by a tally of 52-48.

With the victory, Mammoth improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Owyhee (Owyhee, NV) to confront the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Owyhee won 70-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV)

Next, the Cavaliers encounter the Westwood Lumberjacks (Westwood, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 8. Sacramento Country Day will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the test with a 3-3 record after their 36-34 non-league win over Carlin (Carlin, NV).
