Texas High School Basketball - New Boston knocked off by Pleasant Grove
December 7, 2023: Texarkana, TX 75503 The Pleasant Grove Hawks basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting New Boston Lions to 47 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Idabel for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Pleasant Grove will meet a Warriors team coming off a 97-13 non-league win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ). The Warriors record now stands at 3-0.
The Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hope (Hope, AR). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hope ran past Arkansas (Texarkana, AR), 59-57, in a non-league contest.
