In Thursday's non-league outing, the Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL) basketball squad felled the visiting Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL), by a margin of 53-43.

The Thundering Herd (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Fairfield (Fairfield, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Fairfield thwarted Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL), 58-32, in a non-league outing.
