Oregon High School Basketball - Pleasant Hill can't hold off Western Christian
December 7, 2023: Salem, OR 97304 The Western Christian Pioneers basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Pleasant Hill Billies to 70 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pioneers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bandon for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Western Christian will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-18 non-league win over Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
The Billies (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Coquille was nudged by Central Linn (Halsey, OR), 58-51, in a non-league contest.
