The Starmont Stars basketball team scored 71 points and held the host West Central Blue Devils to 33 in the Stars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Stars now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maquoketa Valley for a Tri-Rivers contest on Friday, December 8. Starmont will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 41-40 league win over Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
