Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) and the visiting River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH), saw Athens's basketball squad wallop River Valley by a tally of 69-36.

With the victory, Athens improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH) to confront the Buckeyes in a Tri-Valley - Ohio challenge on Monday, December 11. The Buckeyes come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Nelsonville-York won 46-36 in their recent league challenge against Vinton County (McArthur, OH)

Next up, the Raiders confront the Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio challenge, on Monday, December 11. River Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 53-47 league loss to Wellston (Wellston, OH).
