December 7, 2023: Clovis, CA 93611 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) and the visiting Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA), saw Buchanan's basketball squad wallop Reedley by a count of 64-18.
With the victory, Buchanan upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Central (Fresno, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Central won 39-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Immanuel (Reedley, CA)
Next up, the Pirates play the Hanford Bullpups (Hanford, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Reedley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Bullpups come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 53-33 non-league win over Immanuel (Reedley, CA).
