Ohio High School Basketball - Calvert knocked off by Hopewell-Loudon

The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Calvert Senecas to 42 in the Chieftains league triumph on Thursday.

The Chieftains now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakota for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Saturday, December 9. Hopewell-Loudon will battle a Raiders team coming off a 44-29 league loss to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 0-3.

The Senecas (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH). The Panthers enter the Sandusky Bay - River contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, St. Mary Central Catholic was defeated by St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH), 49-37, in a league contest.
