December 7, 2023: Monaca, PA 15061

Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA), 66-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Hurricanes play the Laurel Spartan (New Castle, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. New Castle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Spartan go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 48-30 non-league loss to Rochester (Rochester, PA).
