North Carolina High School Basketball - Robbinsville holds off Smoky Mountain
December 7, 2023: Robbinsville, NC 28771 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) and the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), saw Robbinsville's basketball squad hold off Smoky Mountain by a tally of 33-28.
With the victory, Robbinsville improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Murphy (Murphy, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Smoky Mountain will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Maroon Devils come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 22-13 non-league loss to Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC).
