Washington High School Basketball - Lynden overwhelms Lakewood
December 7, 2023: Lynden, WA 98264 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) and the visiting Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA), saw Lynden's basketball squad wallop Lakewood by a tally of 81-39.
With the victory, Lynden improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Jackson (Mill Creek, WA) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Jackson won 54-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 60-27 non-league win over Cascade (Everett, WA).
