New York High School Basketball - Catholic Central fells Canton

December 7, 2024: Troy, NY 12182

The Catholic Central Crusaders basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Canton Golden Bears to 49 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lansingburgh for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty game on Tuesday, December 10. Catholic Central will confront a Knights team coming off a 46-32 non-league loss to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Canton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Franklin Academy (Malone, NY) to confront the Huskies in a Section 10 Central game on Friday, December 13. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 2-1.
