Virginia High School Basketball - Fleming overwhelms Carlisle
December 7, 2024: Axton, VA 24054 The Fleming Colonels basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Carlisle Chiefs to 44 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Colonels now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Albemarle for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Fleming will confront a Patriots team coming off a 83-42 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Carlisle falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Conquerors in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Conquerors go into the game with a record of 6-3.
