Illinois High School Basketball - New Trier overwhelms Centennial
December 7, 2024: Champaign, IL 61821 The New Trier Trevians basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host Centennial Chargers to 56 in the Trevians non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trevians now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Zion-Benton for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. New Trier will confront a Zee-Bees team coming off a 60-53 non-league loss to Kenosha Tremper (Kenosha, WI). The Zee-Bees record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Centennial falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Chargers host Peoria (Peoria, IL) to confront the Lions in a Big Twelve game on Friday, December 13. The Lions go into the game with a record of 7-0. Peoria won 33-31 in their recent non-league game against Morton (Morton, IL)
