December 7, 2024: Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI), 46-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Superior advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Proctor (Proctor, MN) to meet the Rails in a non-league match on Monday, December 9. The Rails enter the match with a record of 3-0. Proctor won 56-50 in their recent league match against Mesabi East (Aurora, MN)
The Cardinals now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eau Claire Memorial for a Big Rivers match on Tuesday, December 10. Chippewa Falls will meet a Old Abes squad coming off a 77-53 non-league win over Burnsville (Burnsville, MN). The Old Abes record now stands at 1-0.
