December 7, 2024: Madison, IL 62060 Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions (Centralia, IL) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Madison Trojans (Madison, IL), 68-64 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Christ Our Rock Lutheran advances its record to 2-4 on the year. The Silver Stallions host Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL) to face the Knights in a Gateway match on Tuesday, December 10. The Knights enter the match with a record of 2-0. Metro-East Lutheran won 69-64 in their recent league match against Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL)
The Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cairo for a non-league match on Friday, December 13.
