McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Community Braves (Nevada, TX), 45-41 in a non-league match.

With the victory, McKinney North upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Independence (Frisco, TX) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Knights enter the match with a record of 7-4. Independence lost 43-40 in their recent non-league match against Panther Creek (Frisco, TX)

The Braves now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Community will face a Tigers squad coming off a 76-43 non-league loss to Trinity Christian Academy (Paris, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
