Washington High School Basketball - Connell nips Othello
December 7, 2024: Connell, WA 99326 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Connell Eagles (Connell, WA) and the visiting Othello Huskies (Othello, WA), observed Connell's basketball team edge Othello by a score of 62-56.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, McLoughlin was edged by College Place (College Place, WA), 52-42, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Othello falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Toppenish (Toppenish, WA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Toppenish won 19-9 in their recent non-league bout against Mabton (Mabton, WA)
