New York High School Basketball - Saranac Lake holds off Franklin Academy
December 7, 2024: Malone, NY 12953 The Saranac Lake Red Storm basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Franklin Academy Huskies to 46 in the Red Storm non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Storm now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Saranac for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I game on Thursday, December 12. Saranac Lake will confront a Spartans team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Massena (Massena, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Franklin Academy falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Potsdam (Potsdam, NY) to confront the Sandstoners in a Section 10 Central game on Tuesday, December 10. The Sandstoners go into the game with a record of 2-0. Potsdam won 75-45 in their recent non-league game against Heuvelton Central (Heuvelton, NY)
