Georgia High School Basketball - Winder-Barrow victorious over Gainesville
December 7, 2024: Gainesville, GA 30501 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs basketball team scored a good 62-49 triumph over the Gainesville Red Elephants.
The Bulldoggs (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Raiders go into the AAAAA Region 8 contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Habersham Central topped Stephens County (Toccoa, GA), 81-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Elephants confront the Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA) in a AAAAA Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Gainesville will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 73-57 league loss to Seckinger (Buford, GA).
