In Saturday's non-league test, the Horizon Honors Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) basketball squad trounced the host Tonopah Valley Phoenix (Tonopah, AZ), by a score of 66-20.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 11. Horizon Honors will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 46-45 non-league win over Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ).

The Phoenix (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Florence (Florence, AZ). The Gophers come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Florence bounced San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ), 54-49, in a non-league test.
