Washington High School Basketball - Lakes nudges Prairie
December 7, 2024: Lakewood, WA 98498 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA) and the visiting Prairie Falcons (Vancouver, WA), observed Lakes's basketball team edge Prairie by a score of 58-57.
The Lancers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Tacoma, WA). The Abes come into the 3A Puget Sound challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln was tipped by Arlington (Arlington, WA), 68-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Union Titans (Vancouver, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Prairie will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 69-60 non-league loss to Lake City (Coeur d'Alene, ID).
