The Rocky Mount Gryphons bounced the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 70-21 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Gryphons clash with the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, December 9. Rocky Mount will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 4-2 record after their 48-45 non-league loss to Beddingfield (Wilson, NC).

The Vikings (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers go into the 1A Tar Roanoke contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Wilson Prep smashed Northampton County (Gaston, NC), 74-72, in a league contest.
