South Carolina High School Basketball - Socastee triumphant over Wando
December 7, 2024: Myrtle Beach, SC 29588 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) and the visiting Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC), observed Socastee's basketball team overwhelm Wando by a margin of 54-32.
The Braves (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Waccamaw was trounced by St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC), 72-54, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Wando will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Iron Horses come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 67-54 non-league win over First Baptist School (Charleston, SC).
