Arkansas High School Basketball - County Line can't hold off Lavaca
December 7, 2024: Lavaca, AR 72941 Lavaca Golden Arrows (Lavaca, AR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting County Line Indians (Branch, AR), 47-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lavaca advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Golden Arrows travel to Charleston (Charleston, AR) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region 4 match on Tuesday, December 10. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-3. Charleston lost 55-44 in their recent league match against Cedarville (Cedarville, AR)
The Indians now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scranton for a 1A Region 4 match on Tuesday, December 10. County Line will face a Rockets squad coming off a 64-27 non-league loss to Dover (Dover, AR). The Rockets record now stands at 6-1.
