The Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) basketball edged the visiting Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE), 43-40 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Fillmore Central for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Freeman will play a Panthers team coming off a 46-43 league win over Fairbury (Fairbury, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
