The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Waco (Waco, TX). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Waco was nudged by Midway (Waco, TX), 83-41, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Porte for a 5A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, December 10. Friendswood will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 41-36 non-league win over Navasota (Navasota, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-8.
