December 7, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15209 Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), 56-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Shaler Area upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Titans host Butler (Butler, PA) to face the Golden Tornado in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Golden Tornado enter the match with a record of 2-0. Butler won 65-35 in their recent non-league match against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA)
The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a non-league challenge on Monday, December 9. Greater Latrobe will battle a Prexies team coming off a 46-35 non-league loss to McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Prexies record now stands at 1-2.
