Texas High School Basketball - Lorena holds off Jim Ned
December 7, 2024: Lorena, TX 76655 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Lorena Leopards basketball team scored a close 38-36 triumph over the Jim Ned Indians.
The Leopards (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stephenville (Stephenville, TX). The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees go into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Stephenville nipped Cooper (Abilene, TX), 43-15, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians confront the Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 contest, on Saturday, December 14. Jim Ned will attempt to better on its 13-1 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 39-36 non-league win over Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX).
