In Saturday's non-league test, the Konawaena Wildcats (Kealakekua, HI) basketball squad got by the host Punahou Buff n' Blue (Honolulu, HI), by a final score of 54-48.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Ka'u Trojans (Pahala, HI) in a Big Island test, on Saturday, December 7. Konawaena will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 39-35 league loss to Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI).
