California High School Basketball - Arcadia overwhelms St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy
December 7, 2024: Arcadia, CA 91007 The Arcadia Apaches basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors to 43 in the Apaches non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Apaches now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they host South Pasadena for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. Arcadia will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-41 non-league loss to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host St. Francis (La Canada, CA) to confront the Golden Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Golden Knights go into the game with a record of 7-2.
