Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 46-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pleasant Valley advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to University Prep (Redding, CA) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 2-1.

The Miners now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bear River for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10.
