Illinois High School Basketball - Grant Community knocked off by Libertyville
December 8, 2021: Libertyville, IL 60048 The Libertyville Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs to 49 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waukegan for a North Suburban contest on Saturday, December 11. Libertyville will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-48 non-league loss to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
The Bulldogs (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Eagles enter the Northern Lake County contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Lakes ran past Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 53-48, in a non-league contest.
