In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys basketball team scored a good 74-57 triumph over the High Point Central Bison.

In their next game, the Cowboys meet the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Conference 55 match, on Friday, December 10. Southwest Guilford will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 40-39 non-league loss to Williams (Burlington, NC).
