North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory falls to Freedom

December 8, 2021: Hickory, NC 28601

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Freedom Patriots basketball team scored a good 45-32 triumph over the Hickory Red Tornadoes.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 10. Freedom will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC).

With the defeat, Hickory moves to 1-4 on the year. The Red tornadoes host East Lincoln (Denver, NC) to meet the Mustangs in a 3A Conference 51 match on Friday, December 10. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 4-1. East Lincoln won 58-55 in their recent non-league match against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)
