The Las Plumas Thunderbirds basketball team scored 27 points and held the host River Valley Falcons to 20 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 9. Las Plumas will battle a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 46-31 non-league loss to Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 0-1.

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sutter (Sutter, CA). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Sutter nudged Winters (Winters, CA), 47-11, in a non-league contest.
