In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Poston Butte Broncos basketball team scored a decisive 86-19 triumph over the Apache Junction Prospectors.

In their next game, the Broncos meet the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 12. Poston Butte will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Sabercats enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 87-56 league loss to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ).

With the defeat, Apache Junction moves to 0-10 on the year. The Prospectors travel to Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Monday, December 12. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-6. Sahuarita lost 70-60 in their recent non-league match against Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ)
