The Benjamin Franklin Electrons basketball team scored 88 points and held the host Girard Academic Music Program Pioneers to 66 in the Electrons league triumph on Thursday.
The Electrons now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Learning Center for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 11. Benjamin Franklin will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 80-48 league win over Nueva Esperanza (Philadelphia, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-0.
The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph Vo-Tech (Philadelphia, PA). The enter the Philadelphia Public - Colonial contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Randolph Vo-Tech was routed by Science Leadership Academy (Philadelphia, PA), 45-28, in a league contest.
