December 8, 2022: McLean, VA 22101 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) and the host Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA), saw Bishop Ireton's basketball squad overcome Potomac School by a tally of 72-58.
With the victory, Bishop Ireton improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Flint Hill won 60-57 in their recent non-league outing against Episcopal (Alexandria, VA)
The Panthers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Takoma Academy for a non-league outing on Sunday, December 11. Potomac School will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 70-55 non-league loss to Bullis (Potomac, MD). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
